Our values
At Bocas Bay Lodge Luxurious, we care about protecting and preserving the environment. We grow our own organic fruits and vegetables. We make our own compost, which is then used to fertilise the soil of our crops.
We make the most of solar energy, using solar panels to produce part of the electricity we use. We are self-sufficient in water thanks to a natural spring running through our estate and to rainwater harvesting.
We grow on the estate, without any chemicals, all kinds of fruits and vegetables — from the most common tropical varieties (pineapple, cacao, mango…) to lesser-known ones (yuplon, guanabana, zapote columniano…), as well as species known for their health benefits (moringa, stevia, turmeric…).
